MEET THE TEAM

Tammy Friend
Lead Instructor
Tammy teaches yoga for community and connection, and believes that guiding students through the union of mind, body, and soul is one of the greatest gifts she can give. Her playlists span the full spectrum — from coffeehouse covers and 80s and 90s hits to current favorites — always matched to the energy of the class. Outside of Prana, Tammy loves reading, true crime documentaries, walking, and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband Justin have been married for over 25 years and have two adult children, Ella and Evan. She is also, proudly, a four-cat household.

Allison Lucas
Allison started as a student at Prana and immediately felt at home — and the friendships and support she found here are what inspired her to teach. Yoga has been a constant in her life for over a decade, and she loves sharing the strength, confidence, and peace it has given her with others. In class, expect a little bit of everything — indie, alternative, pop favorites, and timeless throwbacks. Off the mat, Allison loves the beach, concerts, baking sourdough, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and their black lab, Lucille.

Amy Gagnon
Amy teaches to share her love of yoga and to help students deepen their practice — but what keeps her coming back to Prana is the community. She curates every playlist to fit the theme and style of class, and occasionally brings her guitar along for something truly unexpected. When she's not on the mat, Amy is an enthusiastic golfer (a work in progress, by her own admission), a gardener, a hiker, a paddleboarder, and a devoted baseball fan. She and her husband have a blended family of seven adult children, five grandchildren, and one very spoiled golden doodle named Dublin.

Barb Satterfield
Barb teaches to spark inspiration, self-study, and empowerment through movement and breath — and to help build the kind of community she wants to live in. Her playlist philosophy is best described in her own words: "I'll take you through the hood to church — from the window to Wallen." When she's not teaching, you'll find her outdoors, near water, at a concert, or exploring a new restaurant with a cold drink in hand. She and her husband of over 20 years have two adult children, Tyler and Logan, and two dogs — Cooper the Boxer and Brody the Cavapoo.

Brenna Harvey
Brenna teaches because she loves creating a space where people can slow down, reconnect, and feel supported exactly as they are. Her goal is simple: students leave feeling stronger, calmer, and more at home in their bodies than when they walked in. Her playlists match the class — mellow and relaxing for Gentle, with more energy and rhythm for Sculpt. Off the mat, Brenna loves spending time with family and friends, being near the water, thrifting, and the occasional guilt-free nap. She and her husband have two kids — a 19-year-old son and a spirited 15-year-old daughter — plus two dogs and two cats who keep life entertaining.

Jamie Warkonyi
Jaime came to yoga as a student and never stopped learning. She teaches because yoga transformed her life — building resilience, presence, and self-compassion — and she wants to create that same space for others. In her classes, you can expect thoughtfully curated playlists ranging from calming instrumentals and mantra to gentle contemporary songs that enhance rather than distract. Outside the studio, Jaime is an assistant principal at an elementary school, a lifelong learner, and a student of spirituality, mythology, and Reiki. At home, she shares her space with three cats — Salem, Wicca, and Fleck — who are firmly convinced they run the household.

Katie Hobbs
Katie teaches to create an experience that leaves students feeling more empowered and at home in their bodies and minds. She loves the creativity and diversity of teaching styles at Prana, and her own playlists reflect that range — from classical to hip hop, depending on the day. Outside of yoga, Katie loves exploring new restaurants, traveling, reading, and being outdoors. She and her husband Marshall are kept wonderfully busy by their two boys, Declan and Killian.

Lyndsay Bui
Lyndsay teaches because she's passionate about helping others feel well and move well — and because sharing in someone's wellness journey is a genuine gift. Her playlists are upbeat and pop-forward, slowing down only as the class winds toward savasana. Outside of yoga, Lyndsay lifts weights, takes walks, plays pickleball, and volunteers on her kids' school PTO board. She and her husband Jon have lived in Holly Springs for 13 years and have two boys, Eli and Ian, who play what feels like every sport imaginable and make life infinitely sweeter.

Madison Whitley
Madison has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and has been part of the Prana community for three. She's at her best motivating students just outside their comfort zone, reminding them they're capable of hard things. Expect a challenging flow with modifications for every level, music that makes you want to move, and a teacher who is not afraid to laugh at herself. Off the mat, Madison is first and foremost a mom — she and her husband Michael cheer on their 13-year-old daughter Lily, a competitive junior golfer, and fill the rest of their time hiking, paddleboarding, and making serious work of a chips and salsa situation.

Melissa Kranack
Melissa teaches to share her love of yoga — for the energy, the connection, and the relationships she builds with students. What she loves most about Prana is exactly what drew her in: a community that is warm and welcoming from day one. Outside the studio, Melissa's world revolves around her husband, three children (two of whom are in college, which makes scheduling adventurous), and her sweet dog Kylo. Her favorite adventures involve traveling with her family wherever life takes them next.

Michelle Ryan
Michelle has been practicing yoga for nearly twenty years, drawn to its ability to calm anxiety, create space in the body, and bring peace both on and off the mat. She completed her 200-hour teacher training at Chakra Power Yoga and has since pursued additional training in trauma-informed restorative yoga. Her classes blend flow and restorative poses, and her hope is that every student walks out feeling calmer, more refreshed, and more connected to their own practice.

Nat Bolds
Nat teaches for the connection — holding space for students to disconnect from the outside world and find calm in both mind and body. Her playlists vary by class style but always carry a soulful, uplifting thread. Off the mat, Nat leads a life full of contrast: she's a structural engineer by day and an avid scuba diver and fisher by weekend. She's also the proud mom of three teenagers — a 17-year-old and 15-year-old twins — plus two dogs and one very zen cat.

Morgan Lynch
Morgan came to yoga during the pandemic while navigating postpartum, a new city, and a feeling of total disconnection — and it brought her back to herself. She completed her YTT four weeks after having her second baby and has never looked back. She teaches because yoga helps people feel at home in their own bodies, and because the students inspire her every single class. Expect playlists full of yoga-fied covers, current hits, indie favorites, throwbacks, hip hop, and yes — a little country. Outside of yoga, Morgan works a 9-to-5, loves thrifting, sewing, painting, and exploring playgrounds around Raleigh with her husband and their two little ones, Claire and Clay.

Sara Jensen
Sara teaches aerial yoga because it's a creative outlet unlike anything else — and because helping people feel good in their bodies brings her genuine joy. She keeps her playlists low-key and relaxing, hoping every student finds at least one song to lean into during class. Outside of yoga, Sara owns a marketing agency with a passion for supporting women building creative careers while raising children. She and her husband have two school-aged kids and have called Holly Springs home since 2016.
